Today we break open your active vocabulary with 10+ essential everyday verbs covering household chores, communication, travel, and personal tasks. You will learn to express cleaning, washing dishes, reading, writing, calling friends, asking questions, and waiting—using the familiar 'ng / sa / ang' patterns.
- Master the 6 priority verbs: gumagawa (doing/making), nagbabasa (reading), nagsusulat (writing), naglilinis (cleaning), naghuhugas (washing), naghihintay (waiting)
- Describe household chores: naglilinis ng bahay, naghuhugas ng pinggan
- Describe communicative actions: tumatawag sa kaibigan, nagtatanong sa kanya
- Combine ACTION + OBJECT + LOCATION into fluent multi-part sentences
- Transform high-frequency verbs across Ngayon (now), Kahapon (yesterday), and Bukas (tomorrow)

Practice Syllables
Instant Recall:
I ate → 'Kumain ako.' • I am eating → 'Kumakain ako.' • I will eat → 'Kakain ako.'
Notice that some verbs use -um- (gumagawa), while others use mag- (nagluluto, nagbabasa). That is completely normal in Tagalog. Learn the verbs as active chunks rather than trying to derive everything from a single formula.
