Phase 2: Building Conversation • Day 32 of 90 ⏱️ 30 Minutes Intermediate Beginner

🇵🇭 Tagalog — Day 32 Module

Talking About Yesterday & Past Events: The Completed Verb Aspect

Yesterday introduced the 3-way aspect concept (ongoing, completed, contemplated). Today we dive deep into the completed aspect—learning how to talk about everything that already happened: what you did, ate, drank, cooked, bought, where you went, and when you returned home.

🎯 Today's Goal: Converse fluently about yesterday and past events using high-frequency completed verbs (kumain, uminom, nagluto, pumunta, bumili, umuwi, naligo, natulog, gumising).
  • Identify and produce 9 core completed action verbs from memory
  • Integrate past time markers: kahapon (yesterday), kanina (earlier), kagabi (last night)
  • Construct full past-action sentences with objects and destinations (Kumain ako ng kanin, Pumunta ako sa tindahan)
  • Answer past-tense questions spontaneously (Ano ang ginawa mo kahapon?, Ano ang kinain mo?)
  • Respond immediately to rapid yes/no past verification questions using 'po' and 'ba'
  • Score 9+/10 on the Day 32 Completed Action Examination
