🇵🇭 Tagalog — Day 50 Module

Connecting Complex Thoughts: Reason, Contrast & Multiclause Fluency with 'At', 'Pero' & 'Dahil'

Today marks Day 50 of your Tagalog journey! You will synthesize the core pillars of Week 7—Wants (Gusto), Needs (Kailangan), Likes/Dislikes (Ayoko), and Abilities (Kaya)—into longer, natural compound sentences using connectors: 'at' (and), 'pero' (but), 'dahil' (because), and 'pagkatapos' (afterward).

🎯 Today's Goal: Seamlessly combine wants, needs, preferences, and abilities into connected compound sentences and multi-turn conversations.
  • Combine 'gusto', 'kailangan', and 'kaya' within single compound thoughts
  • Express contrasts and reasons using 'pero' (but) and 'dahil' (because)
  • Build 4-part layered sentences (Desire + Action + Object + Obligation)
  • Differentiate the connector 'kaya' (so/therefore) from the capability word 'kaya' (can)
  • Deliver a continuous 1–2 minute spoken monologue combining wants, needs, and skills
  • Score 9+/10 on the Day 50 Combining Sentences Test
Section 1 • 0:00–5:00
